About Me

• My name is Jonas. Photographer, filmmaker, and lifelong lover of wild places. Originally from Tennessee, now based in Northern Spain—living between the mountains and the sea.

• I got my start behind the lens by accident. I spent over a decade guiding adventure travel trips—hiking, backpacking, and trail running through remote landscapes. Taking photos was just part of the job at first, but it quickly turned into a passion. I fell in love with capturing the raw beauty of wild places and telling the stories of those who move through them.

• I feel most alive when I’m moving through landscapes. Trail running on quiet mountain ridges, scrambling up rocky peaks, or surfing tiny peeling waves with friends.

• My work is rooted in sport, travel, and human connection. Over the last four years, I’ve shifted from just capturing my own adventures to helping brands and individuals tell their stories. I want my images to inspire people to connect—with themselves, each other, and the landscapes they move through.
